When are The Logies?

The 63rd TV WEEK Logie Awards will take place in Sydney on Sunday July 30, with Seven and Are Media set to deliver a spectacular show.

“The time was right to find a new home for the Logies and bringing them back to Sydney after more than 30 years made perfect sense,” Seven West Media Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, James Warburton said.

“Australia’s TV networks and many of its major production companies are based in Sydney and the city provides a backdrop for some of the country’s most popular TV shows.”

Are Media Chief Executive Officer, Jane Huxley, said the TV WEEK Logie Awards has become the most anticipated event of the year for the television industry.

“We are delighted to continue our long-standing association with the awards and equally pleased to welcome the Seven Network as the Logies’ Official Broadcast Partner,” she said.

Who is hosting The Logies?

Sam Pang, the comedian we know and love from Have You Been Paying Attention, will be taking on hosting duties for the evening.

“To be honest, I haven’t been to that many Logies, but it’s a night of celebration for an industry I love. It’s great to play a bigger part in it,” Sam told TV WEEK. “I’m ready to have some fun.”

“The idea is that the host adds to the night and is a friendly face to guide the viewers through the show. There will be the normal amount of pressure, and it’ll be a big week leading up to it, but I’m looking forward to it.”
