We're all frothing over The Bachelorette Australia 2017, and now Sophie Monk is sharing a little more about how she really feels about being our new rose queen.
A brand-new promo for the dating show has just dropped and the 37-year-old is back with her trademark honesty, confessing she's a "bogan" and she can often attract the wrong guys.
“I know I’m not the typical Bachelorette. I’m 37. I’m a massive bogan. But I really hope Australia understands that I want to find something genuine and they back me on this and don’t think I’m a tool, to be honest,” she says.“But I am so awkward [and] the worst flirt you’ve ever met. I get really nervous and it’s just embarrassing when I’m on a date.”
In an emotional moment, the star confesses to sacrificing her love life for her career and becomes teary.
“Because I’ve played roles that are quite sexy and promiscuous, people think I’m like that. That’s probably why I attract the wrong guys, too. That’s one thing I regret. I feel like I chose my career and you can’t really have both.”
Sophie's dating rap sheet is littered with Hollywood heavy-hitters like her ex-fiance Benji Madden, Jason Statham, Ryan Seacrest, Kevin Connolly and Sam Worthington. The actress admits that despite her A-list status, she's not the best at dating.
"I am so awkward [and] the worst flirt you’ve ever met. I get really nervous and it’s just embarrassing when I’m on a date.”
The stunning blonde believes her profile is the main reason why she hasn't settled down.
“Living in LA for 10 years, I’ve dated actors and rock stars. I think they’ve fallen in love with my image, not with me,” she says.

“I’m so lucky to do what I do, but the one thing you do sacrifice is a really healthy, good relationship — that’s one thing I regret," the reality TV star adds.
Fingers crossed The Bachelorette Australia 2017 can help turn her world around.
“I’m just here because I want to find a good man, that I think would be a good father, and just someone that loves me."
Amen to that, Soph!
Before Sophie become's Australia's very first celebrity Bachelorette, her friend Matty Acton recently revealed why he thinks his radio co-host has been so unlucky with love.
"Because she is such a nice person, she can get walked over a bit and treated badly and she just takes it," the radio personality told Confidential.
"I've been friends with her when she has been in some of her terrible relationships."
The filming of The Bachelorette Australia 2017 is believed to have wrapped and according to the Courier Mail, the star has found what she's been looking for.
"It's going really well. She is in love," a pal revealed.
The Bachelorette Australia 2017 will air on Channel Ten later this year.
