Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke on THAT Game Of Thrones meeting

“He walks into the room and doesn't expect to see such a beautiful young woman of similar age to him.”

It was the Game Of Thrones moment we had all been waiting for. Jon Snow, The King of The North, met (take a deep breath) The Unburnt Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.
We knew this momentous occasion would occur during some point in this season, we just weren’t so sure it would happen so soon. Neither, as it turns out, was Kit Harington.
“I predicted, like everyone, they would meet this season, but I don't think I predicted it quite as quickly,” Kit told Entertainment Weekly.
“He walks into the room and doesn’t expect to see such a beautiful young woman of similar age to him. Any young man’s reaction is going to be, ‘Okay…’ but he puts that aside, because he has to,” he adds.
Emilia admits the scene was exciting to film. “It was fun to play – she doesn’t like him and she doesn’t believe him.”
At this point in the series the characters are unaware they are related. Last season it was revealed Jon Snow is potentially a Targaryen himself. His half-brother Bran Stark is the only one who knows his true parentage.
Speaking of Bran, his meeting with his sister Sansa was our second favourite reunion in last night’s episode. The Stark children have had a rough few seasons, but we get the feeling things could be on the up for House Stark. Although, it IS Game Of Thrones, so one can never be too optimistic…
