Mystery Road actress Jessica Falkholt tragically died in January following a horrific Boxing Day car accident.

The devastating crash killed Jessica’s parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60. Her sister Annabelle, 21, died in hospital days later on the 29th of December, while Jessica was taken off life support on the 17th of January earlier this year.

The family were driving home from a South Coast holiday, when their vehicle was struck by another driver. The driver of the other vehicle, who had reportedly just visited a methadone clinic in Nowra, also passed away.

The 29-year-old actress was known for playing Hope Morrison on Home and Away in 2016, and had just wrapped up filming a role as Irish backpacker Genevieve in acclaimed ABC drama series Mystery Road.

The Falkholt family tragically lost their lives following a car crash on December 26 2017.

Now, Mystery Road’s Aaron Pedersen has remembered his late co-star as a “great beauty and actress”.

While it may not have been a lead role, Aaron says the cast have fond memories of Jessica. He reveals she was “always smiling and was a delight to have on set”.

“It’s a tragedy,” Aaron, 47, tells TV WEEK of her untimely death. “But for us, [the show] is a great place to pay tribute to her.

“Jess’ acting was fantastic. She brought a real spirit and loved it. She was magnificent.”

Jessica will also posthumously appear in the Nine Network’s Bite Club when it airs later this year.

It stars Todd Lasance (Spartacus: War of the Damned), Ash Ricardo(Offspring), Damian Walshe-Howling (Janet King), Deborah Mailman (Offspring), Robert Mammone (Underbelly), Pia Miller (Home and Away), Marny Kennedy(Wentworth), Darcie Irwin-Simpson (Love Child) and lead-star Dominic Monaghan (Lost, The Lord of The Rings).
