CW

Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl (Netflix)

If not to bask in the fantasy of rich people Christmases, the original Gossip Girl’s season one Christmas episode has plenty of entertaining drama. Blair’s trying to keep her dalliances with Chuck hidden from Nate plus, her dad returns to New York with his new boyfriend, who she, of course, hates.

Serena and Dan are in love and are trying to find surprising and heartfelt gifts for each other, which is, as usual, a struggle for S.

This episode is jam-packed with cringe and hilarity in all its awkward glory. Jess says ‘thank you’ when Paul tells her that he loves her, and Nick steals the show with his hilarious half-drunk comments.

Name a more iconic Christmas figure than the very well-known and not at all fake Holiday Armadillo. I’ll wait.

Friends Season 2 Episode 9

Friends (Netflix)

Not to mention, the rest of the crew had an uncomfortably tropical Christmas party in Monica and Rachel’s apartment when the heating broke, while Ross desperately tried to win Rachel over after writing a nasty list about her. An A++ episode all around.

Seinfeld Season 9 Episode 10
