Duchess Catherine and Prince William are certified pros in the art of video calls these days – so much so that they’ve even nailed the background.

We all know by now the self-imposed importance of having a non-distracting, yet pleasant background in the multiple Zoom calls that have now become the norm in our everyday lives.

A blank wall, a comfy couch, or even a table with a neat basket of fruit atop are all aesthetically pleasing.

But Kate and Wills’ set-up might well be the best of all – and that’s because there’s one, very sweet addition.

In the new video, shared by Kensington Palace over the weekend, Kate and Wills are seen speaking to staff from Hospice UK’s Just “B” counselling and bereavement support line.

During the call, they talk about how the important service has played a pivotal role for people in need throughout the pandemic.

“Bereavement is never easy, especially for frontline workers during these unprecedented times. It is so important to have services like Just ‘B’, who provide a listening ear for those coping with the loss of colleagues, loved ones, and people they care for,” the Palace shared in the caption.

That element alone was enough to bring the Palace’s Instagram following to a halt.

But there was a lot more to the video than that.

In the background of the shot, presumably filmed in Kate and William’s country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk, it’s possible to make out a grand mantlepiece.

Along with an impressive plate collection, sitting front and centre is a picture of Prince George, the very same one released for his sixth birthday in 2019.

Can you spot it?

It’s not hard to see why Kate and Wills love the snap – a joyful George is seen laughing in the grass of their country home.

In addition, keen photographer Kate herself also snapped the shot.

That’s the shot!

Duchess Catherine and Prince William are currently hunkering down with their three children, George, now aged seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two.

It’s likely family will wait out the remaining strict lockdown measures at Anmer Hall – and at least until it is deemed safe to travel around the UK again.

That said, it looks like their set up is rather quaint – with the most important things front and centre.
