Former Home & Away star Luke Mitchell’s adorable cheerleading moment for his wife Rebecca Breeds will warm your heart

Luke Mitchell, who played the beloved Romeo on the soap and his wife Rebecca Breeds, who played Ruby, have been the image of couple wholesomeness since they got together eight years ago.

And to this day, they remain more in love than ever – a quick glance at Instagram will tell you as much.

Overnight, Luke shared a picture of Rebecca in character for her current television show, Clarice, which is airing in the US at the moment.

“#Clarice is back tomorrow night with a brand new episode & it gets tense AF! 🔥🔥🔥DON’T MISS IT!!” He wrote alongside the striking image.

Luke’s fans were just as supportive, with one writing: “It’s so, so good.”

More added extra flame emojis and clapping hands.

Luke added this stunning image of Rebecca Breeds from her latest hit series, Clarice.

The show, which is available for streaming on Stan is a psychological horror crime television drama based on the best-selling novel, The Silence of the Lambs.

Rebecca has the lead role in the series, playing the main character of Clarice Starling, who returns to the line of duty in Washington DC to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators.

Luke’s description of the show being “tense” certainly rings true here.

Luke is Rebecca’s biggest cheerleader.

Rebecca, 33 and Luke, 35 tied the knot back in 2013, four years after meeting at a mutual friend’s housewarming.

At the time, Luke had just moved to Sydney for his Home And Away gig, while Rebecca was already filming the show in the idyllic Palm beach.

“I felt like I already knew him. It was absolutely a feeling that we had lived another life together,” she previously said of their first meeting.

Luke shared this cute snap for Valentine’s Day this year.

Still as in love as ever, this week the couple shared sweet Instagram posts in tribute to each other on Valentine’s Day.

“My V day. My Er’yday,” Rebecca wrote alongside a cute pic of the pair sitting water-side.

Luke meanwhile shared a gorgeous photo of the pair out on a hike, writing: “Don’t let a commercial holiday tell you what to do BUT also don’t let a commercial holiday stop you from expressing your love for someone! #HappyValentinesDay”.
