Sam Frost and Tim Franklin have been lighting up our TV screens ever since they debuted their romance on Home And Away in August last year.
And according to a show insider, their steamy onscreen chemistry is all thanks to a real-life love affair that’s going on when the cameras stop rolling.
Woman’s Day can reveal that the former Bachelorette, 31, and Tim, 29, have been secretly dating for some time, with our source revealing “they’re obsessed with each other”.
“They’ve been seeing each other in secret for months, but Sam’s wanted it kept on the down low after the horrendous split with Dave [Bashford] last year,” our Home And Away insider explains.
“She’s smitten, and she really wants them to be the next big TV couple.”

“It all became too much for Sam who was going through a lot. Her career was taking a new path and her mental health was definitely not where it needed to be,” the insider revealed.
“When things are good, they’re both very happy, but the lows are bad. They argue over trivial things.”

Taking to Instagram, Sam shared footage of herself and her dogs from her TikTok account, where she had been mocking the viral “couplechallenge”.
Tellingly, she added the hashtag “31singleandfabulous” and Dave, 27, was no where to be seen.
A representative later confirmed the news, with a spokeswoman later revealing in a statement: “Sam Frost and Dave Bashford are no longer in a relationship. They remain great mates.”
