Home and Away

Home & Away's Sam Frost opens up to her new cast member Nicholas Cartwright as they bond on set

Very deep conversations at Home and Away.

By Faye Couros
The cast of Home and Away have been gushing over their new castmate Nicholas Cartwright who plays the "hot cop" on the show.
It is easy to see why, as Nicholas seems like a fun-loving, easy-going person who is passionate about acting, and considering this is his first role out of drama school, he isn't doing too bad for himself.
Sam Frost, who plays Jasmine on the show, has warmly welcomed Nicholas into the Summer Bay family.
The cheeky post in question. Instagram
She recently revealed a sweet bonding moment that occurred between the two actors on set, and well, if anything, fans can see they share similar oddball humour that made Australia fall in love with Sam in the first place.
Sam posted a picture of herself and Nicholas sitting while reading through lines on set on her Instagram story.
She captioned the moment with a script-like conversation that is a little bit awkward but very funny.
It read:
"Nic: Your eyes sometimes remind me of a cat. Other times you look like an alien or a lizard.
"Me: Oh….. thanks?
"Nic: That was suppose to be a compliment."
They're two peas in a pod. Instagram
Sam added a thought bubble above Nicholas' head with a cat, alien and lizard emoji for extra effect.
Nicholas then reposted Sam's lighthearted post and gave some insight into the reality of the behind the scenes picture.
"When you work 12 hour days a lot the chat gets real @fro01," wrote Nicholas.
Earlier this week, Sam shared a sweet message to ring in Nicholas' debut on the show.

"Tonight we welcome this legend @nicholas_cartwright to Summer Bay. Nic is honestly such a breath of fresh air," Sam wrote.
"He's such a selfless and generous actor, and he has an epic sense of humour."
"We only communicate via memes, which is how it should be. We adore you," she concluded.
It's no surprise that Sam has been welcoming of her new castmate as she has proven over the years that she is a team player with a heart of gold.
