Tori and Christian tie the knot

Their love affair began like a romantic comedy – as Tori (Penny McNamee) fumbled through her feelings – and ended in a beautiful event filled with celebration and love. After just a few months of dating, Christian (Ditch Davey) popped the question.

But their trip down the aisle was almost derailed by a patient named Rachel (Marny Kennedy, below) who was seriously injured in a skydiving accident.

Believing he was destined to save Rachel, Christian pushed Tori away and postponed their special day.

In a tragic twist, Rachel died and Christian reassessed what was most important to him: Tori. The pair married in a simple backyard wedding alongside friends and family, before deciding to relocate to London with baby Grace.

After just a few months of dating, Christian (Ditch Davey) popped the question.

Lewis revealed as hospital killer

Fixated on gaining revenge on Christian, who he blames for his wife’s death, Lewis (Luke Arnold, above) began fatally harming patients in the doctor’s care.

But when his quest to ruin Christian remained unsuccessful, Lewis kidnapped him, strapped him to a gurney and prepared to inject him with a lethal concoction. Yikes!

Who knocked off Susie?

She was the charming real estate agent who conned her way to wealth. But in a special whodunnit storyline, someone wanted revenge, and Susie’s (Bridie Carter, above with Shane Withington as John) body was found floating in the water.

Her death put many in the spotlight, including Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and Justin (James Stewart) – until a former victim was discovered to be the killer.

A busy gala is the perfect setting for a masked killer to strike. An unknown figure was seen slipping a drug into Tane’s drink, causing him to collapse. The figure then released a toxic gas around him and left him to die.

However, the vapour spread through the vents of the Surf Club, poisoning everyone! Safe to say, the guests did not have a ball after all.

His failed attempt to rekindle his relationship with Bella (Courtney Miller) saw Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) flee the Bay. In the search for him, Dean (Patrick O’Connor) swerved to miss a kangaroo. In a true “cliffhanger” episode, doctor Logan (Harley Bonner, below) managed to pull Dean from the wreckage alive.

Mac’s downward spiral

After being dumped by her boyfriend and suffering a tragic miscarriage, Mac (Emily Weir) turned to alcohol to numb the pain. The scenes were heavy with emotion as Mac tried to deal with the loss and move forward.
