If, like us, you’ve already watched the teaser for Home And Away‘s 2021 return a few more times than you care to admit, you know we’re in for a HUGE year of drama.

Thanks to the H&A community’s eagle-eyed fans and some sneaky new photographs, however, we now know which Summer Bay resident may be at the centre of scandal – and it wasn’t AT ALL teased in the first trailers.

Rob Kipa-Williams, who plays Ari Parata on the show, has been spotted on set kissing a stunning newcomer.

The blonde in question has been identified as British-born actress Anna May Samson and the theory behind her arrival is juicy, with a capital J.

Other than the fact he spent 10 years in prison for an armed robbery gone wrong, not a lot is known about Ari’s back story. Enter Ana’s character.

According to The Sunday Telegraph Anna plays Mia Anderson, Ari’s ex-girlfriend who arrives in Summer Bay with her daughter, Chloe, played by Sam Barrett who was previously snapped on set kissing Lukas Radovich aka Ryder.

Dating before Ari was sent to prison, there’s sure to be a lot of unfinished business between the pair and we can sense the drama already, particularly since the handsome Summer Bay resident is already dating Mackenzie.

While daughter Chloe isn’t Ari’s biological child, the publication revealed he was a strong father figure in her life before detailing a possible miscarriage between the couple that sent Ari into a spiral of grief.

Despite being born in the UK, Anna has lived in Australia since she was a teen, and probably looks very familiar.

The gorgeous actress has appeared in plenty of local dramas in recent years including Dead Lucky, Wake In Fright, Jack Irish and Halifax Retribution with Rebecca Gibney.

Anna’s been spotted a few times on the Summer Bay set and even seems to appear in the 2021 teaser in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.

Home And Away is set to return to Channel Seven on February 1.

Anna, is that you?
