Ellidy Pullin appears to have a message for her critics following her engagement to Brock Wadsworth— and some believe her latest cryptic Instagram post is aimed squarely at Chumpy’s father, Chris Pullin.
The mother-of-one recently shared a pointed caption alongside a carousel of images of her enjoying life in Europe with those closest to her: “Minding my own business and being stoked on life with my people, everyone should try it.”
While Ellidy did not name anyone, some have interpreted the post as a subtle response to the criticism surrounding her engagement, particularly after Chris publicly claimed she would not change her last name because it was her “cash cow”.

The comments have reportedly hit hard, but those close to Ellidy say she is determined not to let the negativity overshadow what should be an incredibly happy chapter of her life.
“Ellidy is the happiest she’s been since losing Chumpy,” a source said. “She will always love Chumpy, but she has found a new life with Brock and she is genuinely so happy. She doesn’t want anyone raining on her parade.”
The source said the judgement has been particularly difficult given the depths of grief Ellidy endured after losing Chumpy.

“No one will ever understand what she went through or how hard she had to fight to pull herself out of some of her darkest days,” they said. “She’s found someone who adores her and Minnie and who she believes will be a wonderful father figure to her daughter.”
As for the Pullin surname, Ellidy has every reason to keep it if she wants to.
“Her daughter has that name, and sharing it with Minnie means everything to her,” the source said. “It has nothing to do with what anyone else thinks.”

And while Chris’ comments reportedly “hit hard”, Ellidy isn’t allowing them to dictate how she lives her life.
“Chris feels what he feels and Ellidy feels how she feels,” the source continues. “She knows there will always be people who have something to say. But she’s loving life with Minnie and Brock — and as far as she’s concerned, ‘screw them.’
