“Ok. So my head is still pounding,” the 44-year-old began, recounting the events that had brought her to tears.

“I drove away from a gas pump with the nozzle still in. I was chastised for wearing fur but that was weird cause it was teddy bear fur. And then I paid for the broken pump, so that was over a $500 tank of gas. Felt awful for being so absentminded.”

The mum-of-one continued to confess that she then “burst into tears in front of barista after ordering and made everyone uncomfortable”.

“Still crying. And I ran out of dog food. And [migraine relief medication] excedrin. Can I have someone say this will pass? #waytogo #crapday #stillgrateful #makemelaughplease #timetoplaywithmylittleone.”

Oh, Selma!

The emotionally charged post comes almost eight months after TMZ reported that the Tinseltown veteran was escorted from a flight on a stretcher following a drunken mid-air outburst on her return from Mexico to Los Angeles.

After the incident, reports claimed she had been taking a combination of prescription medication with alcohol before allegedly rattling off a string of claims against an unidentified abusive man, including, “He burns my private parts” and “He’s going to kill me.”

The Cruel Intentions actress was travelling from Cancun where she had been celebrating Father’s Day with her ex Jason Bleick and the pair’s now-five-year-old son Arthur.

Selma later released a statement apologising for her on-flight behaviour, stating: “I made a big mistake yesterday. After a lovely trip with my son and his Dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to blackout and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret.”

“My son was with his Dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace.

“I take this very seriously, and I apologise to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath.”

“I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident. I am truly very sorry.”
