Bachelor Tim Robards makes a major return to reality television in new role

SAS Australia is returning our screens and the original Bachelor Tim Robards will be joining season four along with a bunch of other popular faces.

In 2013, Tim featured on The Bachelor where he found his soulmate in Anna Heinrich who has also appeared on SAS Australia during season three. In an interview with WHO Magazine she revealed she was left “exhausted, depleted, I was battered and bruised by extremely proud.”

Since finding fame on the reality dating series, Tim has appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! with his wife Anna back in 2015.

Given his active and busy lifestyle as chiropractor and dad, we aren’t surprised Tim has decided to feature on the intense series.

Tim hasn’t publicly talked about his new role yet.

In 2023, SAS Australia is set in the Middle East, one of the toughest environments faced by Special Forces operatives. And its where the new contestants will eat, sleep and breathe in hot conditions.

It is the first time on the series that the recruits will travel offshore to a secret base in the Middle East where Chief Instructor Ant Middleton ad the directorial staff will force their recruits to endure punishing conditions.

All while unpacking the contestants past, subject to sleep deprivation and interrogation.

Tim will be joined by Olympic swimmers, champion boxers, actors and football stars plus a Balinese Princess. The cast include Peter Bol, Stephanie Rice, Abbey Holmes, and Anthony Mundine.

Former Home and Away actor Craig McLachlan will be returning to television after being cleared of sexual misconduct allegations in 2020.
