According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Glee star Mark Salling has pled guilty to child pornography charges , which stem from his 2015 arrest. The actor was taken into custody after a search warrant uncovered thousands of illegal images on his personal computer.

The documents state that he agreed to a plea deal, which requires him to register as a sex offender as well as serve between four to seven years behind bars.

Additionally, he will have no communication with anyone under the age of 18 (unless he’s the minor’s legal parent or guardian), will be under supervised release for the two decades following his prison sentence, and is forbidden from being within 100 feet of schoolyards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds, and arcades. He will also be ordered to pay $50,000 to each victim who requests it, and must complete a sex offender treatment program.

Prior to the terms of his plea agreement, the 35-year-old faced up to 20 years behind bars had he been found guilty. The decision to enter a plea comes after he pled not guilty on the charges last year following an indictment on two counts of child pornography — including one count that involved a flash drive which allegedly contained an image of a child under the age of 12.

Mark has kept an incredibly low profile since his initial arrest back in December 2015. But this wasn’t his first public run-in with the law.

In March 2015, he paid millions to an ex-girlfriend who accused him of knocking her to the ground when she confronted him about an alleged incident of sexual battery.
