Mariah Carey has never been shy during her performances, but her latest stunt took things to a whole new level.
Instead of walking on stage to begin her performance for the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, miss diva herself was carried in.
On a chaise lounge. By several buff and burly men. Like a queen.
Naturally.
“Take me to the stage!”
Mariah had her male backup dancers surround her adoringly.
The 46-year-old started out her festival debut in a sparkly silver number that split so high that many in the festival got quite the eyeful.
Many speculated that the Emotions singer might not have even been wearing underwear!
Did you forget something (again), Mariah? Looks like Jermaine Dupri hasn’t noticed yet.
But clothing aside, Mariah proved she’s still got it, belting out her hit makers with all the force and style her fans are used to.

Mimi made sure she had the men fawning all over her.
For the second half of the show, Mimi ditched the silver glitter number and changed into a pink showgirl outfit, complete with massive puffy bow on the back and a long train.
This performance comes after a string of scandalous onstage events for Mariah.

James Packer’s fiancee turned up at one DJ gig last week in pretty much just lingerie and a leather jacket.
And the songstress also called Rob Kardashian’s pregnant fiancée Blac Chyna up on stage to get one of her buff backup dancers to deliver a lapdance while the reality star was blindfolded on a bed.
