Kris Jenner denies she was given the chance to comment on Bruce Jenner’s transition

Kris Jenner has addressed the accusations she provided "no comment" to the ABC's Bruce Jenner: The Interview special.

The reality TV matriarch has slammed claims she opted to provide “no comment” about her ex-husband, Bruce Jenner’s tell-all-interview about his gender reassignment.

ABC, the network behind the Bruce Jenner interview allege the 59-year-old declined to comment, despite Bruce’s two other exes Chrystie Scott and Linda Thompson providing supportive statements to Diane Sawyer for her bombshell exclusive.

Further fuelling the fire was celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s provocative tweet to his some 5.9 million fans.

“Kris Jenner has no comment for ABC news and the #BruceJenner interview. His other two ex-wives give supportive statements,” he observed.

Before adding: “Kris Jenner is negotiating her very own tell-all interview as we speak – to the highest bidder! Or so I think.”

Not long after, Kris issued a very fiery response: “@PerezHilton f*** you Perez no one asked me to comment….and I’m sitting with Bruce now watching this show so let’s keep it real…LOL….”

Kris tried to clarify the matter, by releasing a statement to People.

“Kris does not have official representation but a message was left at her office and she was asked for fact checking. Kris said she was unable to respond because she had not seen the special. She did not say, ‘No comment,'” it read.

The ABC network have denied this and are standing by Dianne Sawyer’s original statement.

“ABC News sent an email to her publicity team more than once. They called and said no comment,” a network statement released to People explains.

Until now, the usually vocal Kris has been very quiet about Bruce’s transition however following the interview she broke her silence with a message of support, writing: “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.”

Bruce’s loved one rallied to show their support.

Kris’ best friend and Today host, Kathie Lee Gifford has also opened up about her friend’s silence.

“The other [wives Chrystie Crownover and Linda Thompson], both fine women, had a long time to get used to this,” Katie explained.

“This was new to Kris. She’s trying to get her act together. She’s trying to be a good friend to him. Trying to still be a good parent. It’s complicated in ways that we cannot even comprehend. Frank and I send our love and prayers to Bruce and his family. God loves you and so do we.”

We will hear more from Kris soon, through the E! network, who’ll will be chronicling Bruce’s transition from male to female in an eight-part-docuseries.

“It will capture intimate family conversations where [Bruce’s] transition and what it means for those relationships is discussed,” the network announced in a statement.

It is believed that Kris, Khloé, Kourtney, Scott Disick and Kendall and Kylie Jenner will all feature on the series.
