Is she seeing what we’re seeing? It seems Deborra-lee Furness likes her hubby better without the muscles.
It’s the body responsible for sending women’s jaws towards the floor whenever he peels off his shirt, and a physique that’s landed him on countless “Hollywood’s hottest” lists. But Aussie actor Hugh Jackman’s wife Deborra-lee Furness turns her nose up at it.
“It frustrates her more than anything,” admits 45-year-old Hugh, whose famous hulking frame is the result of strict training and dieting for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men films. “It means I don’t go out to dinner with her!”
Hugh insists it’s a constant battle against his “naturally skinny” physique to bulk up.
“Wolverine is tortured and quite muscular. I’m skinny and labradorish!” he tells Britain’s The Times magazine. Either way, famously blunt Deb, 58, isn’t happy.
