Life in self isolation can be a total rollercoaster of emotions.
One minute you think you’re totally fine – you showered, ate three square meals – and the next it’s 10pm on a Monday night and you’re sobbing over Normal People with a bottle of wine and a packet of Ginger Nuts.
The only thing getting us through is seeing how other people are holding up in isolation – the good, the bad and the ugly.
And of course our favourite celebrity gals have been keeping us entertained with photos of their jazzy working from home tracksuits, new at-home dye jobs and fun date nights … in their living rooms.
So if you’re in need of some inspiration to help you embrace your best quarantine self – and all the elasticised pants at your disposal – keep on scrolling to see how these A-listers are handling life in iso.
The one, the only, Jane Fonda. The 82-year-old has been rocking these awesome tracksuits while isolating at home.
And it comes in black! The “Fonda” tracksuit collection from fashion label Crafted LA is #1 on our dream quarantine fashion mood board.
Singer Olivia Newton-John kept herself protected with a homemade leopard print face mask – and encouraged her followers to do the same.
The Project host Carrie Bickmore kept it real with this hilarious selfie from inside the Channel 10 studio. “Too much?” Carrie joked. She and her co-hosts are still going on air each evening, except there is no studio audience.
Former spouses Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are currently isolating together in the US with all of their children, like a true modern blended family. They even got matching PJs!
Demi and her family held a painting night to keep themselves busy in isolation.
Sarah Ferguson has started a YouTube channel where she reads books to children, to keep them occupied (and their parents sane) while in isolation. Here she’s reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a true classic.
ABC’s 7.30 host Leigh Sales has become the calm, reassuring face Aussies turn to each night for the latest updates on the pandemic. Here she has her hair and makeup touched up by her regular hair and makeup artist, who wears a mask and gloves at all times.
Bringing some joy to our Instagram feeds which this gorgeous pet pooch! “Matching accessory! Enjoying an iso-cuddle,” Leigh wrote on Instagram.
Judi Dench’s heartwarming message from lockdown
Fifi Box dyed her hair pink while in isolation, and it looks awesome. “Whacky filter? Or has someone gone cray-cray in iso and dyed their hair pink?” Fifi joked on Instagram. We love it!
Kate Hudson is an iso mood – no pants, a top knot and a giant grin.
I’m A Celeb host Julia Morris and her husband haven’t let lockdown stop them from enjoying fun date nights at home. They dress up in hilarious costumes and decorate the house according to a particular theme. This picture was taken during Under The Sea theme night. Cute!
And on this particular evening, it was all things Star Wars.
In isolation, even the smallest of feats, like putting on actual pants, feel like giant wins. ABC host Annabel Crabb slipped into these jazzy zebra trousers as she prepared for the loosening of some social distancing rules.
“Today I practiced putting on PANTS!!!” she wrote on Instagram, alongside this fun pic. “To be honest it’s quite a job finding a Transitional Trouser. Ie one that looks smartish but does not overly shock a lower body which has been in PJs, or inactively occupying activewear for a month. I bought these excellent zebra pants from @philosophyaustraliafashion, Aussie made purveyor of many trackies-cunningly-pretending-to-be-fancypants.” Love it!
