My Kitchen Rules star Colin Fassnidge has revealed he was injured in a terrifying dog attack earlier this week.

Taking to Instagram, the celebrity chef detailed the ordeal where his pet dogs were set upon by three mixed breed dogs and almost mauled to death. Alongside the story were graphic photos of his pets’ injuries.

“My family and I are still coming to terms with the events that took place ,while opening my house door to load my dogs into my car,” Colin wrote.

“They were set upon by three mixed breed dogs and dragged to the street where the dogs proceeded to hold down and all three attacked, biting ,ripping !”

An upset Colin added that this isn’t the first time there has been an aggressive incident involving these dogs.

“This is the 3rd attack and worst from the same dogs , second time @nswpolice have come out to the scene ( and I thank them) it took 5 adults to get my dogs free,” he continued.

“The owners of the dogs seen and left my dog to die in the gutter , no remorse, no call in to see if ok later that night ….. dogs are not born killers it’s how they are brought up , so if

brought up by GRUBS……..”

Describing his own injuries in the attack, Colin added: “I am also seeking medical attention for my leg and back!”

The My Kitchen Rules guest judge also urged the local council to take action, claiming it could have been much worse as young children and their pets also frequent the area and warned that someone could die in the future if nothing is done.

“I will not let this rest, for the fear of my children and my friend’s kids who live here! I do not blame the dogs I blame the owners!”

Since speaking out on social media last night, Colin has continued to fight for the cause and appeared on Sunrise and revealed he now has $2,000 in vet bills and is considering legal action against the dogs’ owners.

Colin urged the council to take action and warned there could be a fatality in future.
