Hollywood celebrities are showing how to let your grey hair shine in a society that shuns it.

It has been considered a ‘brave’ and ‘interesting’ choice for women to do as it goes against classic beauty standards.

However, society is changing and more and more women are celebrating ageing with their grey hair.

Here are all the celebrities who have embraced their grey hair:

Helen Mirren has been an advocate for grey hair for years now but she admitted that it wasn’t a statement but simply because she was lazy.

Hellen spoke to People about her views on grey hair being directly linked with a certain age, “I think women were just so terrified of having white or grey hair because it immediately put them into a different category. And of course, you are in that age group. I’m sorry, but you are! So, why not just embrace it, go along with it and welcome it? Make it a positive thing as opposed to a negative thing.”

Andie hits back at saying the grey hair ‘ages’ people, “It makes me laugh when someone says it makes me look older. You know I’m 65, what do you think, I look 75 just because I let my hair go?”
