Celebrity chef Adriano Zumbo has announced that he and his wife Nelly Riggio have welcomed their first child.

Sadly fans will have to be patient while waiting for more details as the photo announcement did not feature the bubs name or when he was born.
In the original baby announcement, the couple shared a sweet photo to Instagram to announce their baby, showcasing Nelly’s blossoming baby bump alongside a small green macaron.
“We are baking something very special … Most definitely our greatest creation yet. Little baby macaron due in November,” Zumbo captioned the announcement.

(Image: Instagram)The couple’s exciting news comes more than a year after the TV chefs celebrated their nuptials in a stunning Sunshine Coast ceremony.
The pair first met when Nelly applied for a position at Adriano’s Balmain patisserie. Following the initial introduction, the couple got to know each other on the set of My Kitchen Rules in 2016, with Nelly appearing on the season as a contestant alongside her then-boyfriend of five years.
Their relationship did not get off to the smoothest of starts, with the couple being accused of having an alleged affair as a result of the two-month gap between Riggio’s split from boyfriend JP Huillet and her announcement that she was dating Adriano.
The couple married in Queensland 2022.
(Image: Instagram)“There were a lot of rumours that [the breakup] had something to do with Adriano, but that’s not true. He’s not a homewrecker, he knew I was in a relationship, but it just wasn’t working with JP anymore,” Nelly previously told New Idea.
When asked about the backlash towards their relationship, Zumbo previously told TV Week, “I’m used to criticism … In the end, you have to do what makes you happy. The people who love you and are around you are all that matters.”
The culinary couple has long been interested in starting a family, with Zumbo telling TV Week in 2018 that he and Riggio were planning on growing to a family of four.
With baby number one officially on the way, Adriano and Nelly are sure to be counting down the days until “baby macaron” is welcomed to the world.
