2018 Love Island is finally here!
Amid the very exciting news that former Bachelorette beauty Sophie Monk will be hosting the first-ever Aussie instalment of the steamy reality show, we’re itching for her series to start so we can meet the sexy singles.
And perhaps we’re so stoked for the 38-year-old to return to our screens because it feels like we really know her after watching her ill-fated romance with Stu Laundy play out on our screens last year.
The bubbly bombshell from the Gold Coast practically grew up on our TV screens – from her baby-faced beginnings on Popstars back in 2000, which saw her join the all-Aussie girl band Bardot,to her acting career in LA, before she returned Down Under for a slew of gigs on local TV and radio.
But it’s not just Sophie’s impressive CV that’s worth a slow clap, the Love Island stunner has rocked loads of amazing looks over the years and her beauty evolution is seriously inspiring.
As for what Sophie thinks makes someone beautiful? She says her secret weapon is confidence.
‘”I truly believe that being confident is the most beautiful thing a woman can do. I feel that personality is also a huge factor. Also, if a woman can relate to another woman, there is beauty in that connection,” she admits.

“I would tell [my younger] self to not wear makeup at such an early age. I learned that less is best and that being natural is the sexiest thing a woman can do,” Sophie says.
