The 2019 Golden Globes might be about celebrating the best talent on TV and film.

But secretly, we’ve been counting down to this moment – Best Actress nominee Nicole Kidman’s grand arrival with her country crooner husband, Keith Urban.

Fresh from their Aussie getaway over the Christmas break, the talented duo didn’t disappoint as they put on an amorous display on the red carpet for the 76th Annual Golden Globes.

Nicole, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her moving performance in Destroyer, stunned in a figure-hugging sequinned maroon gown by Michael Kors, which featured long sleeves and a high neck.

Bringing her good luck charm! Nicole and Keith dazzle on the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet.

Nicole opted for a figure-hugging maroon-coloured gown, while Keith looked dapper in a tux.

Channelling her inner Duchess of Cambridge,](https://www.nowtolove.com.au/beauty/hair/kate-middleton-hair-bow-52791|target=”_blank”) her blonde locks were swept up into a low bun and tied up in a chic black ribbon and she accessorised her look with diamond drop earrings, a matching bracelet and a red lip and nail colour combo.

But it was Nicole Kidman’s disco ball-shaped clutch that had our fashion-loving hearts soaring.

Meanwhile Keith Urban, 51, looked as dapper as ever in a tux.

Opening up about playing run-down detective Erin Bell in the crime flick Destroyer, the mother-of-four admitted it was a challenging undertaking.

A chic twist: Nicole’s locks were swept up in a velvet black bow.

Royal inspiration: Duchess Catherine is also a huge fan of the black bow trend.

“[Director Karyn Kusama is a] muscular filmmaker, and she really pushed me into places I haven’t been before. Karyn’s not verbose, she’s tough: She’ll just be like, ‘OK, good.’ But I’m Australian, so I don’t need all that.”

“We could communicate almost telepathically, and she protected my space,” the 51-year-old told the New York Times.

Setting the tone for a stellar award season, Nic already scooped up the International AACTA Best Actress award for Boy Erased over the weekend.

Fingers crossed this paves the way for tonight and the upcoming Academy Awards!
