People have come to know Lucia Hawley as Australian actress Nicole Kidman’s niece or even Antonia Kidman’s daughter, but the young journalist is determined to make a name for herself.
Lucia first made headlines when she was announced as the new face of Live From E! and hosting the 7Bravo program Cultured set to premiere April 15, 2023.
She grew up watching her auntie and mum!
(Image: Instagram)While we are quick to believe that growing up in a family that dominates the entertainment industry ultimately shaped Lucia’s career, especially after going to the ARIAs at 19 years old with Nicole.
However, it was the opposite after residing in Singapore for roughly eight years from the age of eleven years.
“I’ve been instilled with a strong sense of confidence which takes you further than having any understanding about a celebrity or red carpet,” she told Woman’s Day.
“Through osmosis I gained a bit of an understand or a bit of an insight into that world.”
Lucia lived in Singapore for roughly eight years.

Particularly the women who Lucia reveals to be her biggest inspiration, her mum Antonia who raised six children – including Lucia aka the self-proclaimed “bossy older sister” – all the while shifting career to become a family lawyer.
Lucia confesses she still the “oh my god… this is my job,” but she hasn’t ignored the ‘nepo baby’ title that has followed numerous children of celebrities who have successful careers in the entertainment industry.
“If that’s the worse thing being said about me, then so be it,” she said.
“I would never deny my privilege and I actually, totally hold my hand up and say ‘yeah I’m privileged, I come from a really privileged family and I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way because of it’.”
“The only thing I can do is work hard and make an individual name for myself and prove myself.”
