“It was a bit Zoolander!” Keith Urban admits his hair wasn’t great when he first met Nicole Kidman

You know you’ve fallen in love with the right person if they can see past your truly tragic hair.

Advocate for that theory is none other than our resident romantic icon Keith Urban.

The country singer admitted to Kyle and Jackie O that his infamous straighten bob wasn’t crash hot when he first met his now wife Nicole Kidman back in 2005.

“The hairstyles are absolutely Zoolander quality,” Kyle said to the now-Nashville native.

Laughing, Keith quipped, “They are a little Zoolander!”

Before putting the radio host back into his spot, telling him, “Mate you put your pictures up from 2005!”

Then and Now

Keith, always the adoring hubby, spoke about how proud he is of Nicole and all her achievements – especially with Big Little Lies.

“That was an amazing show,” he gushed.

“For me I am proud of Nic and all the girls and the success that it had afterwards.”

Adding, “The way it resonated with people, Nic and I were both blown away with the reaction to it.”

The dad-of-two confirmed that Nic along with the BLL gang, which now includes Meryl Streep, will begin filming, “in a handful of months”.

The Aussie duo can’t stop commenting on their enviable romance.

Just last year, Nicole admitted to Ellen, “I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me.”

But we all know how this love story ended, with the actress laughing, “It’s true! He didn’t call me for four months.”
