Jules Robinson has shared a message of hope for those on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and beyond as she and husband Cam Merchant go into a second lockdown.

The former Married at First Sight stars are staying at home like many of their fellow Northern Beaches residents over the weekend after a COVID-19 outbreak in the area.

The timing is undoubtedly not the best, with just days to go before Christmas – but despite the frustration, Jules is staying positive.

Sharing two gorgeous candid pics of husband Cam and their new baby son Oliver to her Instagram account on Sunday evening, the reality star wrote: “Time to get the bubbles and the clam out… Lockdown it is.”

She continued: “Sending good vibes and positivity to our fellow Northen Beaches peeps. Let’s cross everything that Xmas day will be spent with our nearest. And also sending so much to all my friends in London. It’s actually so hard to even comprehend what you are all going through right now.”

In the sweet pics, the new family are seen in a backyard paddle pool with their adorable son.

Oliver wears matching swimming trunks and hat to his dad, Cam, while Jules joins in the fun in the second pic.

The family-of-three are still having fun despite being in lockdown.

It’s been a tough weekend for many in Sydney, and particularly those in the Northern Beaches as the seriousness of the COVID cluster, which began near Avalon beach, became clear.

On Saturday morning, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the Northern Beaches area would go into lockdown until Wednesday at 11.59pm. The rest of Sydney remained on high alert and were urged to limit their movements to essential activity only.

Jules and Cam were put into lockdown along with fellow Northern Beaches residents.

Cam and Jules will no doubt make the best of the difficult situation.

After marrying for the second time just over a year ago, the pair look stronger than ever.

Back in November, Jules shared a heartfelt tribute to husband Cam for their wedding anniversary.

Posting a black and white shot of her husband, she wrote: “One year today saying ‘I do’ do to the most beautiful, kind, fun man in the world! So proud to be your wife. I love you and happy anniversary my love #dreamman @cammerchant.”
