There’s no denying Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson are one of the most successful love stories to come out of reality series Married At First Sight.
Sure, there’s not a lot to compare them to given the small success rate of the show, but just one look at their lives together – newly married and a baby on the way – and you can see they’re happy.
With fans eagerly following along their post-show journey, we caught up with the couple to discuss whether they would ever make a reality TV return.
“I wouldn’t rule it out, I enjoyed it,” Cam tells Now To Love.
“It’s always exciting and we love sharing it because the public have been so lovely and supportive and we’re thankful for that.”
Cam and Jules were a MAFS favourite.
(Channel Nine)But Cam says if he and Jules were to say ‘yes’ to a show, this time with a newborn in the picture, there would have to be some clear boundaries.
“You’d have your private time as well which we definitely need which is so important in any relationship, let alone someone who’s watched their relationship unfold on national TV,” he added.
The couple are awaiting the arrival of their first child together.
(Instagram)Even when it comes to what the couple shares over social media, they’re mindful of exactly what and how much they post online.
“It’s an interesting one because it’s a gift and a curse.”
“People are interested and we’re very, very thankful for that so we sort of have our baseline of what we do share and have our own private world as well.
“Currently we’re doing a few little renovations and things like that and people are interested in that side of the journey so I think we’ll continue to display a little bit.”

(Getty)As the clock ticks down to the bub’s arrival into the world, Cam reveals he’s doing everything he can to support his wife as she carries his child, including giving her foot massages, popping out for a specific flavour of Doritos to satisfy her late-night pregnant cravings and giving up the booze.
“During the pregnancy, Jules loves her bubbly sparkling water so I’ve jumped on the SodaStream bandwagon even more now so I haven’t been a bad partner,” he says.
“I’ve done it with her, drinking as much bubbly and sparkling water as I can. I couldn’t have imagined if I went the other way and just snapped open a couple of beers here and there. She’s loving it.”
Cam and Jules announced they were expecting their first child together back in April with a spectacular cover on Stellar magazine, which read: “First comes marriage, then comes love, then comes a MAFS baby in the baby carriage.”
“We are having a baby!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Jules wrote on Instagram, adding, “You heard it here so you know it’s actually true!”
She continued: “And we couldn’t be happier! I’m already so in love with my bump!”
