Since she was 16 years old, Jessica Mauboy has been charming Australia with her gorgeous big eyes and incredible hair.

From winning Australian Idol in 2006, starring in movies and representing our country at Eurovision and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games to becoming a judge for The Voice, this singer has made quite a life for herself.

However, there was a time before all the accolades and glamour when Jess was just like every other cute tot in Australia.

To ring in her 32nd birthday, she celebrated by posting an adorable throwback picture from 1991 onto her Instagram.

The epic picture of Jess as a toddler was taken outside at what appears to be a zoo, and she is wearing a cute red and white bow in her hair, which matches her red and white polka dot tulle dress.

She was also wearing a koala T-shirt and knew high socks, which was a very child of the 90s get up.

Jess captioned the post with a gracious message dedicated to her fans and friends who sent her much birthday love.

She wrote, “Wishing birthday love to all my fellow Leos and thanking everyone who has sent in birthday wishes! Feeling very, very grateful. Big love xx.”

She also reposted a slew of birthday messages onto her Instagram story.

In the comment section, Ricki Lee sent her well wishes. She said, “This is adorable! Happy birthday gorgeous ❤️.”

Jess’ reply proves just how close the former Idol girls still are, “thank you, ma sister big live to you and rich and praying that we can all be with all our families soon 💛💛,” she penned.

Wiggle cast member Emma Watkins also sent a birthday message in the comments. She wrote, “What a gorgeous pic ❤️ happy birthday!.”

Because Jess is the sweetest friend, she replied to Emma, “@emmawatkinsofficial thank you sissy em XX.”

Australia is about to get to know the performer a lot better on Sunday night when she makes her debut on The Voice.

“I think this is probably the most that Australia has ever seen me.”

In conversation with TV Week, the judge revealed why she’s finally ready to show Australia her real self ahead of her new role.

“I think this is probably the most that Australia has ever seen me,” said the 31-year-old.

“This is something that’s very, very new to me, but also very real.”
