In a celebrity crossover that absolutely no one saw coming, Married At First Sight star Domenica Calarco has asked out wildlife warrior and Aussie sweetheart Robert Irwin.

The seemingly one-sided flirtation started last month when Dom commented on one of Robert’s TikTok videos, saying: “God you are so handsome”.

The following day, the 29-year-old reality TV favourite commented on the same video, asking Robert to accompany her to the TV WEEK Logie Awards.

On Thursday, Domenica filmed herself asking Robert out for a beer.

“Robert, would you like to come to the Logies with me on Sunday? Xx,” she wrote.

The comments sent fans into a whirlwind, with some labelling the MAFS star “creepy”.

“That’s gross, predatory behaviour. Be a better human and do better,” one TikTok user commented.

But Dom hit back at her critics, saying: “In Australia, legal age is 16. He is 18. He can drink alcohol. I can ask him to come to the Logies with me, and say that he is handsome. Take a chill pill everyone.”

Robert is yet to respond to Domenica publicly.

Then on Thursday, Dom took her crush one step further by publicly inviting Robert out for a drink.

While staying at a hotel in Melbourne with fellow MAFS star Ella Ding, Dom filmed herself having a drink and blowing the wildlife warrior a kiss.

“Hey Robert, I’ve got a beer. Why don’t you come meet me for a drink?” the 29-year-old said in the clip, in which she tagged Robert’s Instagram account.

However it looks like a MAFS/wildlife romance many fans were hoping for might not come to fruition! Robert, who is yet to respond to Dom’s advances, is reportedly dating his long-time friend Emmy Perry.

The 17-year-old is an American actress, animal welfare advocate and heiress to her father’s multi-million dollar videogame fortune.

In June, the Glee star was pictured spending time with Robert on a boat in Queensland.
