Japan's 2021 Olympics have offered some uplifting energy in our pandemic-stricken world, but nothing so far has been quite as exciting as Delta Goodrem's latest throwback picture.
The singer has blown fans' minds by posting an adorable image of herself at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, more than 21 years ago.
Delta looks baby faced as she gives the person behind the camera a big smile and thumbs up in front of the stadium.
She is wearing a yellow top with two yellow hairpieces and minimal makeup and while her relaxed look is far from her sleek and glamorous outfits today, what hasn't changed is Delta – who has clearly forgotten to age over the past two decades.
She captioned the iconic moment, "Throwback pic at the Sydney 2000 #Olympics 💛 gosh! I have so many special memories of this time with my family."
Delta is prompting Bunkerdown: The Olympics, a virtual music performance that will take place on Instagram and Facebook.
The former Voice judge will be performing, and she asked her fans to send her song requests.
"Who's in for Bunkerdown: The Olympics this Thursday?!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 travelling in time and around the world but virtually! Send me requests of the best hype songs you know and your favourite Olympics anthems."
She ended her message by sending support to the incredible athletes representing Australia.
"Let's. Bring. it 💪🏼🙌🏼 Rooting for you @ausolympicteam !💛💚," she finished.
For fans keen on sending Delta their requests, she has created a space on her Instagram story for people to post their "Olympic songs/songs that pump you up" – but beware because time is ticking.
This isn't the singer's first walk down memory lane this week, yesterday she posted on her Instagram that she is rediscovering her files from the early stages of writing her newest music.
She uploaded a voice memo from her google doc, a very 2014 Taylor Swift move.
"From the writing days. Jamming 🎸 I've been working on tour and music plans for weeks now and rediscovering all the early files from the process….♥️ Dropped some voice notes into our google Doc for u to find aswell xx," she captioned the memo.
