The popular singing contest The Voice is back for 2021!
The reality show is entering its 10th season, and this year it’s not only welcoming new coaches but a whole host of talented fresh faces who will no doubt take Australia’s breath away.
The panel of judges includes three exciting additions who are replacing Delta Goodrem, Boy George, and Kelly Rowland.
Guy Sebastian, who has kept himself firmly placed on his red chair, will be joined by Australian country music star and Nicole Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban, actress and singer Rita Ora, and Jessica Mauboy – who rose to fame in 2006 on the hit show Australian Idol and has since gone on to carve out a successful music career.
Talent shows have offered some of the best TV moments, from uncovering mega-talent to emotional backstories; there’s a reason The Voice has had such enormous success.
Last year Guy’s brother, Chris Sebastian, carried on the famous family name by winning the competition with Kelly Rowland as his mentor.
The show will air on Channel Seven after the Olympics – and to say we are excited is an understatement!

Nick Kyrigos

Does this name sound familiar? That’s because Halimah is tennis pro Nick Kyrgios’ 31-year-old sister.
The performer has worked in musical theatre for years, and in an interview with The Canberra Times, Nick told the publication that she’s had to make a lot of sacrifices.
“She has always done what is best for her and her career, and it shows, she made a lot of early sacrifices and was away from family to go to uni in Singapore and has worked overseas in many countries doing musical theatre,” he said.

Sofia Watt is used to performing with her band, but now she is stepping out alone to take on the biggest performance of her life.
In an interview with TV Week, the teenager revealed why she decided to go on the show. She said, “I decided to audition solo because I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.”

Darren has been performing worldwide and in Australia for decades, but will his experience guarantee his success on The Voice?
In conversation with TV Week, Darren revealed the special someone who encouraged him to go on the show.
“My wife Maria and I returned from living in Dubai in 2017, and we were watching the show, Maria said ‘You should do this!’ after some thought, I said, ‘Sure, why not, it’s a whole new avenue, and it looks like fun!'” he said.

Jordan Fuller, 19
Jordan has spent his whole life immersed in music, with a singing teacher for a mother.
He chose to perform Harry Style’s hit song Falling for the four judges, and in a short clip released by Channel Seven, it’s clear he more than impressed them.
“I can’t believe how somebody this young has that much soul in his voice,” Rita Ora says in the preview clip.
However, in a wholesome twist, Jordan isn’t the only Fuller to appear on the show as he will be joined by his sister, Sian.

The teenager had only intended to support her brother, but she ended up stepping onto the stage to test her fate after talking with the show’s host Sonia Kruger.
But will she impress the judges, too?
