The United States celebrated Father’s Day over the weekend, and since Bindi Irwin’s partner Chandler Powell is from the US, she took the opportunity to reflect on the men who have helped shape her life.
Terri Irwin is a strong matriarch, who had to raise Bindi and her brother Robert as a single mum after the tragic passing of Steve Irwin, but Bindi has still felt the love from the men who came into her life and through the short time she had with her beloved father.
Bindi penned an emotional tribute to these three men, who include Steve, her father-in-law Chris Powell, and her husband, Chandler.
Bindi also paired the post with a series of pictures, which included a throwback to her father, mother and herself as a baby, a picture of Chandler holding their daughter Grace, and an image of herself and her husband with Chris.
“Appreciation post for the three most incredible fathers in my life. My dad, my husband and my father-in-law,” wrote Bindi.
“My dad taught me the importance of strength when standing up for what I believe in and to have empathy for all living beings.
“My husband amazes me every day with his kind and steadfast heart, his love for our daughter is infinite.
“My father-in-law works tirelessly for his family and is always there with a word of encouragement. These extraordinary men inspire me and I love them so very much,” penned Bindi.
“Appreciation post for the three most incredible fathers in my life.”

“First ever Father’s Day for me this year. Thank you Grace for making me a dad❤️ I love you so much,” said Chandler.
It was a very special family weekend for Bindi and her husband as it was also their first wedding anniversary.
On Saturday, she posted a wedding photo of herself and Chandler laughing in their wedding outfits and surrounded by flowers.
She paired the image with a personal message that reflected on their love and journey over the past eight years.
