Abbie Chatfield has weighed in on the status of her friendship with Brooke Blurton following their very public falling out.

As Bachie fans will remember, the two reality stars began feuding late last year after Abbie started publicly dating Konrad Bien-Stephens, a contestant on Brooke’s Bachelorette season, before the finale had aired.

Though the couple waited until Konrad’s elimination to post their relationship on social media, Brooke called Abbie out for displaying “white privilege” and “narcissism” and unfollowed her on Instagram afterwards.

Appearing to have mended their fractured friendship, Brooke refollowed Abbie on the platform last week.

But appearing to have mended their fractured friendship, Brooke refollowed Abbie on the platform last week.

“She just refollowed me on Instagram. I never unfollowed her, but she refollowed me recently, so there is not too much to that story,” Abbie told News Corp of the development.

It comes after Brooke said she was “literally pained” by Abbie and Konrad going public prior to her finale airing.

“I’ve reached out to this person to resolve this ‘conflict’ which in fact, classic naive me, adult went to this person to communicate openly about the layers of complexity that this persons actions show and take away from NOT only me but what it meant for a queer woman of colour. If this wasn’t me, I’d still have this stance,” she said at the time.

Abbie revealed she hopes Konrad, who lives in Melbourne, will move to Sydney where she is based.

Elsewhere in the interview, Abbie revealed she hopes Konrad, who lives in Melbourne, will move to Sydney where she is based.

“We are going to see what happens. I am trying to get him to move to Sydney with me,” she said.

Abbie went on to reveal what fans can expect from her upcoming radio show, Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield, that airs weeknights from 7pm-9pm on Fox FM.

“If anything it will get a bit more amplified because you will be hearing my thoughts every day. I’ve never been one to shy away from any topic,” she said.

The 26-year-old, who’s arguably become one of the most successful and well-known contestants to come out of The Bachelor franchise, said her rise to stardom has been “wild”.

“It has been an absolute whirlwind, I was in a corporate job two and a half years ago and I feel very, very lucky,” she said.

“It is bizarre, in my head I am still a property analyst from Brisbane.”

Abbie has done plenty of reality TV, podcasting and hosting gigs since leaving the Bachelor mansion, as well as brand partnerships on everything from swimwear to sex toys.

Most recently, Abbie hosted Love Island Australia Afterparty, and her podcast It’s A Lot continues to be hugely popular.
