Delta Goodrem has been one of the country’s most successful exports who’s performed around the world.

But when it comes to beauty, she’s an Aussie girl through and through and is all about being earthy and natural, but with a touch of glam.

Speaking exclusively to Now To Love, the Born To Try hitmaker shares her top secrets on everything from her glossy hair to her skincare regime.

Talk us through your skincare routine? You’re always glowing!

My skincare routine has been consistent throughout the years, and I like to keep it simple. When I jump out of the shower, when my skin is clean and warm, I like to moisturise and feel hydrated as my prep before makeup or to have a clean face before going to bed.

Currently I’m using hydrating serums. I also like to use the Aduro LED red light mask. Growing up in the Australian sun, I have always been conscious of wearing sunscreen and using sunscreen under my makeup. I also find when I drink lots of water, it changes everything in how I feel and how my skin feels.

It’s all about being earthy and natural, but with a touch of glam for Delta.

How do you keep your hair so glossy and strong?

When I’m not working, I like to keep it simple and try not to put hot tongs in my hair – giving it a chance to recover from blow drying or using hot tools so often when I’m working. After I’ve used a blow dryer or hot tools, I like to use a moisturising shine. And a leave in conditioner is great after washing my hair.

What is the best beauty tip you’ve ever learned?

With all my heart I believe that beauty starts from the inside. With a beautiful heart, you are perfectly beautiful inside and out. It’s a smile. Kindness. Joy. Positivity. Love. Living boldly. That is the true beauty that really shines through.

To be authentically you in your beauty and fashion choices. There’s beauty in originality. Being creative with makeup is a way to express all the different roles we want to play in our lives.

Do you remember the first beauty item you ever bought? What was it?

I remember my Mum taking me to the local beauty salon when I was a teenager and buying me my first three step beauty regime: cleanser, toner, and moisturiser.

We all know putting on a bit of lipstick can boost our confidence, what is your favourite colour to rock?

Being creative with makeup is a way to express all the different roles we want to play in our lives. It’s a way to express creativity and confidence. The rainbow of colours available to us through makeup and particularly lipstick allows us to show all the different expressions of ourselves. At the moment, my go to lipstick on tour is ColorStay Matte Lite Crayon in the shade Take Flight.

What is one beauty item you can’t live without when you’re on tour?

Revlon ColorStay Makeup is incredible – I discovered it many years ago when I was looking for makeup that I didn’t have to worry about constantly touching up. Whether I’m on stage or have a long day out and about, I don’t want to have to worry about my makeup coming off or having to redo it throughout the day. The longwear formulas are a game changer. I use the liquid foundation and then the powder and it really does stay put all day.

Delta is currently the ambassador for REVLON’s Super Lustrous lipstick range ahead of International Lipstick Day. For more info, click here.
