Former Married At First Sight groom Mark Scrivens and The Block alum Bianca Chatfield have announced the arrival of a baby girl, their first child together.

Bianca, a former pro-netballer, shared her joy to Instagram.

“Bursting with love for our little girl. One week old today, meet:💕 Kyah Ziggi Scrivens 💕,” she wrote.

*stop taking photos of me Mum! @thisismarkscrivens 🤍”

“LITTLE PEPPI! 😢😍❤️ Love you all so much x,” one wrote.

“Massive congratulations B and Mark. So so gorgeous 💕💕,” penned another.

“And isn’t she a beauty! So much Love 💕 Crushing it Mumma x,” a third remarked.

After a few months of dating, Mark and Bianca took their relationship to the next level and moved in together in Melbourne.

Mark, who was paired with Ning Surasiang on MAFS‘ sixth season, and Bianca, who appeared on The Block in 2018 alongside her friend Carla Dziwoki, met after messaging one another on Instagram in 2019.

The couple met in a very 21st century way, when Bianca slid into Mark’s Instagram DMs in 2019.

“I think my first message to him was ‘I can’t believe you did this show’,” Bianca previously told WHO.

“It kind of came from a place of support and sharing the shows and then all of a sudden we’re going ‘This could work!'”

Speaking to the Herald Sun, Mark recalled: “The first time we saw each other was March 31, (2019). We’re really happy.”

After a few months of dating, Mark and Bianca took their relationship to the next level and moved in together in Melbourne.

“I moved into Mark’s with two suitcases of clothes and that’s it so I’m still rummaging through those two suitcases and learning to live a very minimalist lifestyle!” Bianca joked at the time.

The pair would talk for ages about their respective shows, comparing the physically draining Block renovation show with the emotionally draining relationship experiment that is MAFS.

“I couldn’t believe that they were only on camera or mic’d for certain amounts of the day, whereas we’re mic’d up for the entire day. You have to have lived and breathed some kind of reality show to really understand what it’s like and I think that’s why so many of us end up talking to each other in some kind of way,” she said.

In the early days of their relationship, Bianca admitted she was keen to keep things private and not go public until they were both comfortable.

“I was really conscious about keeping it low-profile for a while until we were both ready whereas Mark is happy to talk about his personal life – he has for so long on TV so it’s no big deal now,” she said.

“I think we’d been together for about six months when it started to come out and everyone was really supportive. I’m not a big one to read comments and get caught up in all of that – I’m probably very blissfully unaware of what people really think but in our world people were very supportive and happy for us.”

“It’s the easiest relationship I’ve ever been in,” she later confessed to Woman’s Day.

“We just have so much fun together… and we just get along so well.”

The couple have been relatively private about their relationship, with Bianca previously telling the Herald Sun that most people probably had no idea they were dating.

“A lot of people wouldn’t know we’ve been together for a year because we were so conscious of keeping it on the down low,” she admitted.

“For us, it was a real relationship and nothing to do with TV. Even though I’m a public person I’ve always kept my personal life private. But now we’re like whatever, it’s going well and really cruisey.”
