Best known for her long-running role as wholesome schoolgirl-turned-mum Sally Fletcher on Home and Away, Kate Ritchie has grown up in front of Australia’s eyes.
Now, the mum-of-one is marking a golden milestone and celebrating turning 40, and she certainly has a lot to celebrate.
From her thriving career on both TV and radio to her blissful 10-year marriage to former professional rugby league player hubby, Stuart Webb, Kate’s looking foward to her big birthday.
“A lot of people who I chat to, especially people who are older than me, when I tell them I’m turning 40 they look at me and think, ‘oh my goodness, if Sally Fletcher is 40, how old does that make me?! Only a minute ago you were a small child on the television, now you’re a 40-year-old woman,'” Kate told Good Health in June.
“I feel good about it,” she adds.

The Golden Logie winning actress has come along way since attending Campbelltown North Public School in NSW.
The former Home and Away star turned radio personality, posted this hilarious throwback snap of herself and Dannii Minogue back in 1992 recently.
The pair have remained close friends ever since Dannii played the role of Emma Jackson, on the popular Aussie drama between September 1989 and August 1990.
The mum-to-be played the character of Sally Fletcher for 20 years from 1988–2008. She often posts throwback snaps from her days in Summer Bay.

After a five year absence, Kate returned to Home and Away in 2013. She is pictured here with Summer Bay heartthrob, Steve Peacocke.
The gorgeous brunette has one child with handsome hubby Stuart Webb.
The pair tied the knot back in 2010.
In March 2014, Ritchie announced that she was pregnant with her first child.

Kate opened up about life with Mae while speaking with The Weekly back in 2016.
“She’s lovely! She’s so happy and has the most mischievous infectious laugh,” she said. “She’s so loving and over the last six weeks she’s actually started to speak a little more. She’s turning into a little person.”
In 2008 Kate began work on the Nova 96.9 breakfast show. Then, in 2013, Kate moved to start hosting the Nova FM drive.
