Former Neighbours star sexually assaulted 16 young boys

He tricked the boys by making them think they were taking part in a screen test for a low-budget film.

Disgraced actor Jeremy Kewley got away with sexually abusing young boys for two decades.

Kewley, who appeared in McLeod’s Daughters and Neighbours tricked the boys by making them think they were taking part in a screen test for a low-budget film, about a father who kills his sons.

During the ‘screen tests’ Kewley dressed his victims in Lycra and stretched the fabric over their genitalia in order to zoom in his camera.

The county court of Victoria heard that most of Kewley’s victims were assaulted in 2011 at his home in Brighton.

Kewley touched his victims inappropriately over their costumes while wrestling, strangling and kissing them. Meanwhile, their unsuspecting parents waited downstairs.

Some of Kewley’s victims cried in court as they described the lasting impact of the 55-year-old’s actions.

Kewley has pleaded guilty to 19 charges, including indecent acts with a child under 16, indecent assault and making and possessing child pornography.

He is due to be sentenced in May.
