It's been a difficult month for the royal family, but amongst the turbulence, there is a little bit of light.
After the passing of Prince Philip on April 9, and his subsequent funeral on April 17, the family have rallied together for The Queen.
And now, Her Majesty and Philip's great-grandson has added the perfect dose of vibrancy as he turns three years old.
As the young Prince turns three years old, of course we're subject to the joy of seeing a new image of little Louis.
Sharing the picture on the official Instagram account of Duchess Catherine and Prince William, the palace wrote of their youngest son:"Three tomorrow! 🚲
Taken earlier this week by The Duchess before he left for his first day of nursery, The Duke and Duchess are pleased to share a new image of Prince Louis."
In the heart-melting pics, Louis is seen gazing up into the camera as his mum snaps the perfect shot.
With a mop of brown hair and a just-as-cute outfit (likely hand-picked by his mother), the little royal is looking so grown up - and even more like his famous mum and dad.
Duchess Catherine's photography prowess is immense. She's become the royal's informal official photographer, if you will, with her brilliant on-point snaps showcasing the regal family in their most candid, natural form.
She's also made it a bit of a tradition in releasing gorgeous images of her children on their respective birthday's each year.
And over the past few weeks, several more of her snaps of the family from over the years have surfaced as The Firm shared beautiful images of Prince Philip in tribute to his family-filled life.
It'll be a royal extravaganza over the next few weeks - Princess Charlotte will turn six on May 2, and Harry and Meghan's little son Archie will turn two on May 6.
It's likely we'll get a photo or video update of both young royals on their respective days.
And for now, we'll just bask in these gorgeous new snaps of Louis - the next generation is certainly bringing plenty of colour to the royal family.
