Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding is just around the corner and royal wedding fever is well and truly in the air!
The October 12 wedding is set to be televised on ITV as part of its daytime talk show This Morning, kicking off around 8pm AEST (we've got our fingers crossed it'll be available to stream from down-under!).
And while the viewership may not reach the scale of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's royal wedding in May, the young couple's nuptials are sure to be a lavish affair.
The wedding itself is estimated to cost in the vicinity of $3.6 million, including a $150,000 marquee, a $360,000 wedding dress and did we mention a $10,000 wedding cake? Yikes.
And while many royal watchers are divided over the fact Harry's cousin is getting married at the same venue as him just a few months after his and Meghan's nuptials, the biggest question on our lips is:
Who is Jack Brooksbank?
"He is a really lovely chap," a close friend shared with People.
"They adore each other and are really serious."
As Princess Eugenie prepares to tie the knot, get to know her 32-year-old husband-to-be - Jack Brooksbank!
Princess Eugenie was just a 19-year-old student at Newcastle University when she met her man.
Introduced by her friends, she came across the hospitality heavyweight at the Swiss ski resort of Verbier.
The location is especially dear to the Yorks with Fergie and her ex Prince Andrew buying a a luxury chalet there, for all the family to enjoy!
Jack proudly works in the hospitality industry.
Starting off at a pub, he went on to become the highly coveted manager of Mahiki nightclub in London, which used to be the old stomping ground for Eugenie's cousins Prince William and Prince Harry.
These days he's the brand ambassador of Casamigos Tequila, which was co-founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman.
It's clear Jack's love lies in hospitality.
"I want to create a chain of pubs," he once confessed.
"It has been my dream since I was 18. I have fond memories of Sunday roasts in pubs with log fires, and it's something I want to recreate."
Princess Eugenie and Jack have been dating for seven years.
The couple endured a slight bump when Eugenie moved from London to New York back in 2013 after landing a job with online auction house Paddle8.
Working there for a few years, the pair made their long-distance relationship work.
"He's not a jet-setty type," a royal insider remarked at the time, explaining Skype was crucial for them.
"They have lots of lovely friends supporting them too," the pal added.
Princess Eugenie is clearly smitten with her hubby-to-be, sharing a candid snap of her and Jack on his birthday with the caption: "Clearly I said something funny this time! Sums up Jack in a nutshell! Happy Birthday Jack."
It's become very fashionable for royals to be dating what some may describe as "commoners." After all, it is 2018!
While Jack isn't exactly an aristocrat, he's very close to being one.
His father George, an accountant and company director, and mother Nicola sent him to the $13,000-a-semester Stowe private school in Buckinghamshire, England.
They're also hugely supportive of their son and his career choice.
When they tie the knot, the ninth in line to the British throne will get to keep her royal title.
Princess Eugenie will also have the choice of taking her husband's surname.
It is ALWAYS a good thing when your in-laws love you, and boy, is Jack ADORED!
Jack is a regular at the York's family day outs, including the royal family tradition of attending Ascot.
Just last year a friend of the family revealed, "Sarah sees him as a son-in-law already. She and Andrew adore Jack. He is a lovely boy and he has really fitted into the family."
Fergie herself has gushed to her fans following the engagement announcement, "We love Jack and I AM SO EXCITED to have a son, a brother and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony."
Meanwhile, Jack's parents told the BBC, "We could not be more delighted with the news of the engagement."
Now, this is by far the BEST thing about Mr Jack Brooksbank.
The Princess told Harper's Bazaar it is a "complete coincidence!".
We say it's fate.
