Pregnancy rumours intensify for Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge

After making a rare appearance, Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge’s new look has got many people asking whether she is expecting her third child.

The 33-year-old made a rare public appearance on Sunday, where she debut a stunning new haircut.

Attending morning mass with her husband, Prince William at Crathie Kirk church in Scotland the mother-of-two glowed with her chic hairstyle – a parted fringe which elegantly framed her stunning features, while the rest of her chocolate brown tresses were worn out in tumbling curls.

Many royal watchers have questioned whether Catherine was showing off just a bit more than a new ‘do.

Is Catherine’s smile stemming from something more than a killer new hair style?

The last time the future Queen decided to have a fringe was during her first pregnancy with son Prince George in 2012. At the time, the Duchess had just announced her baby news when she was photographed leaving King Edward VII hospital, where she has been treated for hyperemesis gravidarum and extreme morning sickness.

Much like in 2012, the new hairdo frames Catherine’s fuller cheeks – perhaps an attempted sneaky distraction from her rounder face.

On Sunday Catherine was sporting a very similar look – including the suspiciously rounder face, sending the pregnancy rumours into overdrive.

The Duchess has been on maternity leave for over eight weeks, following the birth of Princess Charlotte in May.

The last time we saw Catherine sporting bangs was in December 2012 (L) after she’d just announced she was expecting her first child. And on Sunday (R) Catherine was sporting a very similar look – including the suspiciously puffy cheeks, sending the pregnancy rumours into overdrive.

Last month, Catherine stirred even more pregnancy speculation after she cancelled attending a good friend’s wedding at the last minute.

She was due to join Prince William at All Saints Church in Thurlestone, South Devon, for the nuptials of socialite Daisy Dickson and estate agent Bear Maclean. However, Prince Harry’s brother attended with Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton instead.

According to an insider who spoke exclusively to Woman’s Day, the news is a relief to friends of the couple, who were worried by Catherine vanishing from the public eye.

“It’s not like her to miss things,” the insider admitted. “When friends called her to check if she was OK, she was clearly hiding something.”

Cheeky Prince George and sweet, angelic Princess Charlotte would love a younger sibling.

Meanwhile as reported in last week’s issue of Woman’s Day, the pretty brunette, who is the proud mother to two-year-old Prince George and four-month-old Princess Charlotte, might be taking leave again in a few months.

“She’s in the early stages of pregnancy with baby number three,” a source claimed to Star magazine. “And she’s not taking any chances!”

The Duchess has reportedly been allowed by the Queen to cancel her royal engagements, given her two previous difficult pregnancies.

When she attended Wimbledon in July, Catherine looked markedly different from Sunday’s appearance – with a less-puffy face and no fringe.

The proud mother wants to mirror her childhood for her darling George and baby Charlotte by having the sort of family environment she had, growing up with three kids.

“It’s what she knew growing up with Pippa and James,” the source explained. “They’re incredibly close and she wants her own children to be the same.”

And the time for a third child couldn’t be more perfect. In fact, it’s not uncommon for women to fall pregnant soon after giving birth.

American singer Jessica Simpson fell pregnant just five months after the arrival of her first child.

Back-to-back babies! Jessica Simpson conceived again five months after the arrival of her first child.

“Doctors say that most women are physically able to conceive again six-to-ten weeks after having a baby,” our source explained.

The ever-expanding royal family couldn’t be more excited at the prospect of another baby. “William’s been really sweet,” the Woman’s Day source said. “His big worry is if it’s too much, too soon for Kate – but she’s in remarkably good shape.”

Adding, “She’s fit and healthy and has the best medical care. If anyone can do it, Kate can.”
