Duchess Catherine crowned the most stylish royal

Surprised? We weren’t either.
Duchess Catherine

Duchess of Cambridge has been officially named as the most stylish British icon.

A new survey conducted by Rautken Marketing has discovered that the style of Kate Middleton was ranked in the top spot, bestowing her with the title, nay, crown of the fashionista that most Brits want to imitate.

According to the results, a huge 29% of British women aspire to dress like the future monarch, preferring her choice of attire to that of actresses, models and popstars.

The mother-of-two, who is renowned for selling out any item she wears within hours of its debut, was closely followed in the poll by Rita Ora, and Harry Potter’s Emma Watson.

Singer Ellie Goulding nabbed fourth place, while blogger and YouTuber Zoella rounded out the top five, having had a huge influence over the younger demographic of women aged 16-24.

The Duchess’ outfits sell out within hours after being seen on her.

The runner up’s all boast an edgier look.

Meanwhile, Catherine’s brother-in-law and September birthday boy, Prince Harry, was recently named as the world’s hottest royal!

The charming ginger Prince took out first place in a poll ranking the royals of the world on their good looks.

The 32-year-old beat his brother and Duchess Catherine’s husband, Prince William, by quite a few places… with the future king only managing to land in the ninth place.

Following closely behind the cheeky, single royal was Prince Carl Philip, fourth in line to the Swedish throne and married to model Sofia Hellqvist.

Prince Harry landed eight places above his brother in the poll.

Prince Carl Philip and wife Princess Sofia recently welcomed their first child.

And while we’re handing out superlatives, last week, Harry and Will’s father Prince Charles was named Londoner of Decade.

The title was awarded to the 67-year-old at the Evening Standard’s Progress 1000 event for his work promoting the London capital.

“I am most touched, and indeed surprised, that the Evening Standard should have decided to give me the award of Londoner of the Decade.”

The future King was surprised upon being given the coveted title.

He continued: “As I suppose I have spent most of my life trying to propose and initiate things that very few people could see the point of, or, frankly, thought were plain bonkers at the time, perhaps some of them are now beginning to recognise a spot of pioneering in all this apparent madness?”

He’s hot and single! Prince Harry talks about finding that special lady in the clip below.
