Dolly: Em Rusciano

The fans were right, it was Em Rusciano hiding under the Dolly mask! Hughesy definitely should have been able to pick her voice, but he insisted that he didn’t realise it was her because she sounded too good… nice try, Hughesy.

Mullet: Axle Whitehead

What a blast from the past! It was none other than season one Australian Idol star Axle Whitehead hiding under the Mullet mask, and yes, he was sporting a mullet under that huge fish head. The judges couldn’t believe they didn’t pick his voice, especially Hughesy, who actually grew up in the same area and has known him for years… awkward.

We knew it! Fans guessed that Jack vidgen was under the Kebab mask early on this season, but judge Dannii was left red-faced when he popped out from under the mask after she insisted it simply couldn’t be him. Her big brother Cody won the first ever Australian season but model and actress Alli didn’t make it to the finale. “What an absolutely surreal & incredible few weeks of my life.. becoming Lightning was super empowering for me – especially being the young girl that could not sing in front of anyone without crying of nerves first,” Alli wrote on Instagram after her unmasking.

He belted out LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem, but the judges just couldn’t figure out who was under the Piñata mask. He wrote on Instagram of his time on the show: “So nerve wracking to just get on that stage and don’t mention the choreography to go along with learning the lines to the songs.”

Volcano: Vinnie Jones

After a powerful rendition of I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers, actor Vinnie Jones became the first celebrity to be unmasked this season. Known for his roles in Snatch, She’s The Man, and more, none of the judges managed to guess his identity.
