Well this was unexpected.

Bachelor in Paradise star Keira Maguire famously split from former Bachelorette contestant Jarrod Woodgate six months ago, but it seems like she’s moving on with another bloke from the Aussie reality show.

Indeed over the weekend, several cryptic Instagram snaps appear to have let the cat out of the bag on a new Bachie-verse relationship, and suffice to say our jaws dropped when we realised who it involved.

Bachelor star Keira Maguire has sparked dating rumours.

Taking to her Instagram, Keira posted a snap in Byron Bay, where she was visiting.

The snap of the lighthouse appeared rather innocent… until none other than Bachelorette contestant Alex McKay, who featured on Angie Kent’s season this year, posted his own image from the lighthouse to his Instagram grid.

Coincidence?

Simply captioning the snap, “Sunday well spent!”, we bet it would have been if he and Keira are together now.

The Instagram evidence, which was pointed out by Nine Celebrity, certainly seems a bit suss…

Speculation that they could be an item is fuelled further by the simple fact that both of them are rumoured to be contestants in the next season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Understood to have already been filmed, perhaps this is our first major spoiler from the new season!

Keira confirmed she and Jarrod had pulled the plug on things back in August, simply by answering a question on her Instagram from someone asking if they were still together.

“No we’re not,” she wrote.

The pair hadn’t been shy of a few ups and downs throughout their relationship. In fact, they had already broken up in 2018 when Jarrod reportedly sent Keira a text to deliver the blow.

At the time, Keira wrote on Instagram: “I’m sorry if anyone is disappointed or I have let anyone down. Please respect our privacy as this is a very hard time for me.

In September 2018, Jarrod told NW that he’d called it due to her “overwhelming” Instagram following.

“It was taking over our relationship,” he explained.

Here’s hoping potential newcomer Alex is just as big a fan of sharing his life with his followers in that case…
