We were pretty damn excited when we heard MasterChef Australia was reviving its celebrity edition of the show: Celebrity MasterChef.

That excitement only escalated when we saw exactly who would be taking to the famous kitchen this year (Offspring star Matt Le Nevez, we’re looking you).

Exactly when the show will air is yet to be confirmed but it appears the stars are currently filming as they share snaps from the set.

What a line up!

Packed To The Rafters star Rebecca Gibney in particular has dropped a series of behind-the-scenes photos, and we sense a celeb girl gang forming.

Posing alongside the women of the show, Tilly Ramsay, Chrissie Swan, Collette Dinnigan and Dami Im, Rebecca brought a glamorous new edge to the classic bathroom selfie.

“When you meet new girlfriends and you love them all. Sooo enjoying hanging in bathrooms and kitchens with these beauties @chrissieswan @tillyramsay @collettedinnigan @damiim 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️ ( the boys are lovely too just didn’t get bathroom selfie’s with them 🤷‍♀️😂) @masterchefau #funtimes,” she wrote.

Given the cooking show is known for its wholesomeness, we’re not surprised this year’s celebrity cast have bonded instantly.

Following the cast announcement earlier this month the 56-year-old shared a selfie from the set joking that she was in over her head.

“What was I thinking?!?! #s%*tjustgotreal @masterchefau #youidiot…” she captioned.

Her Packed To The Rafters co-stars immediately responded and we’re sensing a toastie theme.

“No. You. Didn’t!!! 😱 🪦 good luck. You do make a lovely toastie,” Hugh Sheridan commented before Erik Thomson added: “Cheese on toast wins all battles, always. Enjoy xx.”

She also shared a hilarious viral video of a toddler frantically chopping herbs drawing comparison to herself on MasterChef which makes us feel we’re about to be in for one of the most joyous and light-hearted seasons yet.
