Married At First Sight lovebirds Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven are ecstatic to be expecting twins, sharing a major milestone with fans over the weekend.
Having just reached 20 weeks, the pair are well on their way to becoming parents as they pass the halfway mark.
Not only that, they've also shared a unique update with their followers as they tease a gender reveal for their twins.
"Liss had the Harmony Test and results came back all clear," Bryce revealed on Instagram on Sunday of the Harmony Test, which is a pre-screening blood test, also known as the NIPT, which tests for chromosomal abnormalities, including Down syndrome, and can also detect the gender.
"Plus we found out the gender of one of the twins... but couldn't get a definitive result for the other. Has this happened to you?" he wrote.
Bryce and his fiancee seemed ecstatic to share their happy news with fans, who were glad to know everything is ticking along as it should be.
The couple revealed they were expecting back in July, alongside the announcement that they were set to tie the knot for real after walking down the aisle on MAFS.
"We'd already been married on the show and, with our relationship getting stronger, this just felt like the logical next step," Mel told New Idea of their happy news.
"We're not doing this for anybody else, it's about us – we're cementing our love," Bryce told the publication. "Melissa deserves to be happy and I'm apparently very good at that, so I'm looking forward to making it all official."
Liss also revealed she had to attend her initial ultrasound alone, as Bryce was caught elsewhere due to COVID.
"I was alone during the first ultrasound and she just came straight out with it – no warning," Mel recalls of the revelation that she was expecting twins.
"I couldn't stop crying, it was very emotional. I think I said 'holy s--t' seven times."
Though they may have been in shock at first, the pair appear to have taken it all in their stride now as they prepare to welcome their twins.
