Love Island Australia 2018: Tayla was always in love with Dom

I've been so drawn to that.

Love Island's Tayla Damir and Dom Thomass have all but confirmed dating rumours after they both posted loved up pics on their Instagram accounts.
This very intriguing news has been made all the more exciting when we looked back at an exclusive interview with NW from before the series began - an interview with Tayla herself.

When asked about her "dream guy", Tayla responded:
"I very much go for blondes with blue eyes," she said. "It's so weird, because nobody in my life had that so I think it's that foreign – like 'hello! Who are you? You're different – so I've been drawn to that."
Hmmm blonde hair and blue eyes… tick!
She then said: "I do like somebody that keeps fit and is healthy, just because I like exercising and making sure that I'm being healthy…" Tick!
And personality wise: "I like confidence, but not cocky – that's kind of a turnoff – just confident enough to come up and have a conversation and hold a conversation and make people laugh."

Shelby Mills, Dom's ex from the show, has an opinion of her own and the shade is real.
In a post on Instagram following the new couple's PDA, Shelby wrote:
"When you see your ex with the girl he told you not to worry about." Ouch, but ever so relateable!

Tayla's ex, Grant Crapp, on the other hand hasn't spoken out about the pair's new love, which is surprising after their hideous and very public breakup.
Two weeks after winning a whopping $50k in prize money, Tayla and Grant broke up. Their shock split was confirmed via The Fix.
Opening up about her decision to sensationally dump Grant, Tayla explained he was simply "too young" for her and trust issues ultimately got the better of them.
"Obviously I'm heartbroken, it was a big shock to the system," the reality star told the publication, before confirming she had broken up with Grant.
"It came out that there were new accusations that Grant had a live-in girlfriend, and he's gone on the show to promote his business and get famous."
Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp won $50k on Australian 'Love Island' but broke up two weeks later.
Shockingly for Tayla, she says Grant finally came clean and revealed he did indeed have a partner called Lucy on the outside.
Oh the drama!
