Last year on Dancing With The Stars Australia, we were introduced to three brand new judges, who thankfully are all returning to the show in 2020.
Alongside the red-headed Dancing With The Stars US alumni Sharna Burgess and Strictly Come Dancing UK’s tough judge Craig Revel Horwood, is a third judge – the handsome Irishman, Tristan MacManus.
MacManus is a former professional dancer who has starred in five seasons of the US version of the show, and appeared on the UK’s dancing reality show Strictly Come Dancing. He was even partnered up with Pamela Anderson in 2012!
But it turns out Tristan’s got a romantic Aussie connection – he’s married to Australian actress and model, Tahyna Tozzi, the older sister of model Cheyenne Tozzi.
Tahyna first graced our screens on the ABC’s hit teen soap Blue Water High and has since gone on to star in several Hollywood films, including X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and is currently working on her own feature film with fellow Aussie actress Theresa Palmer.
The pair will produce, write and star in the movie they describe as a little bit like Thelma & Louise.

Tahyna and Tristan were introduced by mutual friends in 2011 at a Thai restaurant in LA – and it turns out the friends were secretly setting them up!
They dated for five years, splitting their time between Tristan’s home country of Ireland and LA, before getting married in 2014 in Sydney’s Cronulla.
Now they have a beautiful two-year-old daughter together, Echo Isolde, and a little baby boy, Oisín.

Tristan and Tahyna’s wedding was shrouded in secrecy, to avoid attention from the paparazzi and also to honour a lucrative magazine deal worth a reported $10,000 for the exclusive wedding story and photographs.
The Tozzi family are famous around Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, and now Tahyna and Tristan live in the $1.5 million three bedroom house Caringbah South they purchased together in 2017.
During Tristan’s premiere appearance on DWTS in 2019, Tahnya was watching from the sidelines, supporting her husband.
“So excited I get to watch my other half @tristanmacmanus as one of the new judges on @dancingon10 ! Looking mighty handsome indeed! We are so proud of you my love,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

But it hasn’t all been million dollar properties and shiny TV gigs for this couple.
In October 2018, Tahnya revealed that she has suffered three miscarriages.
On Pregnancy Loss Awareness Day, Tahyna revealed that she has mixed emotions about her family’s new addition.
“On one hand, I am overjoyed at our impending arrival and on the other hand thinking of the 3 little lives that didn’t make it this far,” she wrote on Instagram.
“On this day in particular – Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day – I think of all those little ones and the women and families who had to endure the tragedy of miscarriage,” she said.
“I began documenting my experience … in an effort to shatter the shame and stigma associated with miscarriage and loss. Thank you to those who have shared their experience with me so far – I always wish to hear more.’
