Last week we had the exciting news that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed their third child, a little girl, and straight away there was a conspiracy theory about the new baby.

Some fans were convinced that Kylie Jenner, who is also allegedly pregnant, was her half-sister’s surrogate.

Kim confirmed the arrival of a healthy baby girl, born at 12:47am on 15th January via a surrogate on her social media. On Twitter she wrote: “She’s here!”

She also wrote on app: “‘We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”

However, the theory quickly came to light that Kylie was Kim’s surrogate after rumours surfaced that the 20-year-old reality star was in labour.

The Facebook page The Morning Breathers caused a online storm, when they posted a screenshot of a Twitter direct message, of a girl claiming she spotted the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star in an LA hospital.

Adding fuel to the fire, a Snapchat from Kylie’s boyfriend Travis Scott started to circulate, which read: “Make it home to ya one way or another”

Ooo!

While Kylie has yet to confirm or deny all the pregnancy rumours, fans jumped to the conclusion that she was in fact Kim’s surrogate. Kylie hasn’t posted on Instagram since Christmas – which is a VERY long time in the social world.

Lots of fans have went to Twitter to air their conspiracy theories…

The truth

Kim has revealed more details about her surrogacy decision, admitting herself and Kanye used an agency.

Captioning it with “The truth”, Kim wrote on her app, ‘A traditional surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm and then carries the baby to term.

“Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s. You can either choose someone that you know or you can go through an agency, like Kanye and I did.”
