During a performance at MasterCard Priceless Surprises concert in New York City on Saturday Gwen debuted her new song and boy, it is emotional.

In the wake of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale earlier this year after 13 years of marriage, the song “Used to Love You” is most definitely a reflection of her heartbreak – you can literally hear it in every lyric.

“I just want to share a song that I wrote recently,” she told the crowd about her very personal new ballad. “This song is really special.”

“I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you,” the mum-of-two sings. “I guess nobody taught you how to love. You go, I’ll stay, you can keep all the memories.”

Safe to say this tune will leave you in a flood of tears as Gwen and Gavin, who separated in August, begin to co-parent their kids Kingston, nine, Zuma, six, and Apollo, one.
